Is believed to have been painted in the late 1930's. Scarlett is widely collected and the Guggenheim is known to have over 100 of his paintings. It is in very good condition with classic Scarlett colors. This painting was purchased from a dealer in Woodstock, New York.

Rolph Scarlett (1889-1984) Born in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. His focus as a painter was mostly of an abstract geometric and abstract expressionistic view. He was a member of the AAA (American Abstract Artist Association). In his retirement he resided in Woodstock, New York.
